The CEO is being recruited at an exciting time for SIB’s future development. SIB is currently working with the Executive and colleagues across the NI Civil Service to develop a new Investment Strategy for Northern Ireland, which in tandem with the Executive’s Programme for Government will be key pillars of the Executive’s strategy. In addition, The Executive Office (TEO) is currently finalising its five-yearly review of SIB which is expected to set the future strategic direction for the organisation. These two strategic initiatives will be critical for enhancing SIB’s work and impact in the future.
SIB expects to evolve its structure and ways of working significantly during the next CEO’s tenure. This will lead to positive change within the organisation.
There is a significant pipeline of exciting work across our business lines, including the Investment Strategy Northern Ireland (ISNI), Strategic Support Unit, Council Support Unit, Social Value and individuals working with other public sector organisations to develop repeat and new business. The quality of our corporate memory is a key strength at SIB with many colleagues staying and developing their careers with us in recognition of the unique role that SIB plays in public life.
